Ray Holton Cook

Ray Cook, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at his home in Suwanee, Georgia on October 23, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on December 21, 1944, in Baytown, Texas, Ray's life was a testament to love, dedication and unwavering family values. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ray graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and had a successful career as a Chemical Engineer. He had an adventurous spirit and spent many hours on the water with his family enjoying water skiing, canoeing, scuba diving and sailing. He was known for his love of flying his Cessna and driving his Corvette.

He is survived by Carolyn, his beloved wife of 58 years, his children Travis and Allison, his son-in-law Greg Milstead, his grandchildren Alyssa, Megan and Holton Milstead, and his precious little rescue dog Mini.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, Georgia 30040. Visitation begins at 1:00, and the service will start at 2:00.
