Randall Merritt

Randall Allen Merritt 62, of Dahlonega, Ga passed away on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Harry Merritt, and his mother Jewell Ann Merritt.

He is survived by one daughter; Sherry Bowen of Wayne, WV. Three brothers; James M. Merritt of West Blocton, Al, Ronald Merritt (Diana) of Fort Gay, WV, Russell Merritt (Ruthann of Prichard, Wv, one sister Joyce Adams of Dawsonville, Ga. Special girlfriend Carmon Williams of Dahlonega, Ga, and wife Jeannie Merritt of Gulf Shores, Al. Special nephews and nieces Ronald Merritt (Samantha) of Wayne, WV, Clyde Adams, Jr (Brooke) of Tuscon, AZ, Jeffrey Adama, (Charity) of Dawsonville, Ga, Brittany Domke (Alex) of Dawsonville, Ga, James Merritt Jr, (Stephanie) of West Blocton, Al, Brandon Merritt of West Blocton, Al, Jillian Merritt of Huntington WV, Caitlin Merritt of Parkersburg, WV, and Taylor Marcum (Mack) of Pikeville, Ky, and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Randall was a veteran of the United States Army, and a painter by trade. He enjoyed home time with his girlfriend of 15 years Camron Williams. Randall is gone but could never be forgotten. His ability to light up a room with his comedy and wit was remarkable. To know hos was to love him.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home from 9am-11am.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 at 11am.
