Phyllis Jane Miller

Phyllis Jane Miller, 80, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Born in Gastonia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel F. Honeycutt, Sr. and Laura Clark Honeycutt. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Steven T. Miller and her brother, Samuel F. Honeycutt, Jr. Surviving is her son Steven T. Miller, II and partner, Wendell George, Jr., of Marietta, GA; a daughter, Leslie Miller Workman and husband, John D. Workman of Cumming, GA; two grandchildren, Miller Workman and Avery Workman both of Cumming, GA; a brother, Jeffrey Honeycutt and wife, Sandra Honeycutt of Akron, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Dotty Honeycutt of Hudson, Ohio.

Phyllis is a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She graduated from Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio, and attended the University of Akron, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She loved to read and travel, but her heart was in volunteering at the Alliance for the Mentally Ill in Delaware and many more places.

Memorial gifts may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful and loving staff of Belmont Village Senior Living at Johns Creek and Agape Hospice.
