Phillip Partin

–

Dahlonega, Georgia

Phillip Alexander Partin, 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on April 9, 2025. A
devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Phillip was a man who lived his life with love, laughter, and an unwavering faith in God.

Phillip was known for his kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering loyalty. He had a way of making
everyone feel seen and welcome—he never met a stranger and always had a joke ready to brighten
the moment. With a generous heart and hands that were always busy, he found joy in helping others, fixing what was broken, and bringing comfort wherever he could.

He served honorably as a soldier, worked with precision as a machinist, and shared his faith as a
dedicated preacher. Phillip lived with purpose and grace, embodying the values he held dear both in
word and action.

He loved the simple pleasures of life—classic 50s and 60s music, a good Western movie, a quiet
day spent fishing, or the satisfaction of working with his hands. But more than anything, Phillip
loved his family. His greatest pride was being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

For over 60 years, he loved his wife with a steady devotion that was felt by all who knew them.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Jan L. Partin; his daughter, Susan Coulter; and his three sons, Phillip Allen Partin, Bradley M. Partin, and Darin M. Partin. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his love, laughter, and legacy.
A celebration of Phillip’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Details will be
announced once arrangements are made.

Phillip made the world a better place just by being in it. His faith, his humor, his strength, and his
endless love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.

How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.”
— Psalm 127:3–5 (NLT
