Payton Bradley Lindsey 11, of Dawsonville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 5th, 2020. (Full bio and obit to follow)
Payton was full of life, loved his family and friends. Payton also attended Dawson County Middle School and was in the 6th grade.
Beyblade master, lover of Pokemon, and champion of chess games.
The boy whose smile could light up a room and whose sarcasm was always perfectly timed and even inspiring - for those of us who appreciate the art of sarcasm.
He was a child who loved deeply. Who thoughtfully considered and sought to understand some of life's most challenging questions while he
unconsciously messed with his epic hair.
His heart and intentions were so pure - looking for joy (or a punch line) in everything. The wheels in his mind were always turning. And mercy, was he always talking.
Payton was the boy whose laughter literally made your heart melt who always chose to be his own person and marched (very loudly) to the rhythm of his own drum.
We would hear stories about him speaking up for those who could not speak up for themselves; and for those of us who had the privilege of loving him, we know that this was part of his true calling.
Payton loved to be with small children. He patiently taught them, served them, and set an example for them. Young children looked up to Payton. They delighted in his company and wanted to be like him.
He loved relentlessly. He laughed genuinely and cheerfully. He was soft spoken and we will desperately miss the sound of his voice. His love and friendship were unfailing. We should take this opportunity to learn from him and follow his example.
A celebration of life service for Payton will be held at Crossbridge Community Church in Dawsonville, Georgia on Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at 1:00pm.
