Paul Lavezzo

With great sadness we announce that Paul M. Lavezzo, 74, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was a 30-year resident of Cumming, GA. Paul was born in Washington, DC and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. Paul was predeceased by his daughter Laura Lavezzo Carrico and brother Thomas Lavezzo. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheryl Lavezzo, daughters Jennifer Lavezzo Eade (Colin Eade), Joy Lavezzo Katz (Brent Katz), sons Adam Lavezzo (Kimberly Hanley), Nate Lavezzo, son-in-law Michael Carrico, granddaughters Robin Lavezzo, Sarah Lavezzo, Iris Katz, grandsons Gabriel Katz, Grey Long, sister Mary Dieguez (Pedro Dieguez), brother Billy Lavezzo (Andrea Lavezzo) and many nieces and nephews who were very special to him.

Paul was a devoted and beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Everything he did was for his family and his church. He had a big heart and dedicated his life to helping others in need and set a wonderful example for his children. He was an usher in his church and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for several years; sharing his heart in service to his community.

Arrangements are as follows: funeral and inurnment to be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024 1pm at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3740 Holtzclaw Rd, Cumming, GA 30041. Following the service there will be a small repast in the church reception hall.
