PAUL JAMES EDWARDS (Age 79)

Born April 20th, 1945, at St. Francis Hospital in Olean, New York to Paul E. and Vivian West Edwards. The family resided there until October 1953 when the family moved to Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Richardson, Texas and finally Alpharetta, Georgia following the work moves of his father. Paul had one brother Howard (Howie) whom he was very close to and spent precious time together. Paul spent many years in the retain furniture sales at various stores in the area starting in 1963 at Atlanta’s Rich’s Department Store. He continued in furniture sales at retail stores such as Sears, Robert’s, Rhode’s and Halverty Furniture before finally retiring from Ashley Furniture in 2022. Paul was a very talented and humble person who regularly went to estate sales and loved to shop for antiques. He also enjoyed traveling with friends. He will be deeply missed. Paul is survived by his sister-in-law Katherine Edwards, his niece Susan Edwards and two nephews Jeffrey and Michael Edwards. Paul also leaves behind his very dear friends, The Marsh Family, Kathryn Smith, Troy and Lisa Griffiths, and April Cotney.
