Patrick Earl Hillman

Patrick E. Hillman, 60, passed away in his sleep Sunday, July 31, 2016. Pat was born April 4, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant, TX where he lived until graduating from Kress High School in 1972. Pat was an outstanding student, participating in academic contests and graduating at the top of his class. He completed his education at Texas Tech and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

After working in the chemical industry, he founded Hinton and Hillman with Michael Hinton - a successful chemical distributorship.

Pat's family remembers Pat as a kind man who loved each of them fiercely and supported their every endeavor. He was a friend to everyone - people that he worked with as well as neighbors. Pat was the consummate story teller and loved to entertain his family, friends and strangers.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Lambert Hillman, wife Cheryl Hillman; children William Hillman, Heather Hillman Grossklaus (Drew), Ricky Pfrogner (Randi), Stephen Hillman, and Nathan Hillman. Caleb Grossklaus was his grandson. His nieces and nephews include Jason Boston, Regan Hanslik, Joanna Hanslik and Taylor Hinton.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Hillman, and his father, Earl Hillman.

Visitation will be at McDonald and Son, Saturday, August 6 from 1-3 pm with memorial service following at Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040. The family will receive friends and family at 5615 Copper Creek Pass, Cumming, GA 30040.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Boy Scout Troop 2143, Glenmaura Way, Suwanee, GA 30024 (this is tax deductible).
