Patricia Wootan Smith

Patricia Wootan Smith was welcomed home to Heaven May 5, 2014. She was born August 30, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia, the youngest of four children of Ruby and J.D. Wootan. She was married to Buren Smith for 53 years and had three children - Karen Smith Pope, Elaine Smith Kendrick, and Mark Buren Smith.

Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Pat's life was centered around her solid faith in Jesus, her care for her family, her love of children, and her many friends.

Her memorial service is Wednesday, May 7th, 10:30am, Smoke Rise Baptist Church Chapel, in Stone Mountain, GA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial at 9:30am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Employee Contribution Fund at Belmont Village Senior Living in Suwanee, GA, Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA, or the Alzheimer's Association.
