Patricia Claire Egan

Patricia (Pat) Claire Egan passed away on September 15, 2019.

Pat was born in Ridley Park Pennsylvania on March 18, 1927.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Stuart and Sara Hammond, daughter, Susan Egan, and her granddaughters Breanna and Tessa Hammond. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Vincent Egan Jr. (Vince) and her daughter, Cynthia Hammond

Pat grew up in Lansdowne Pennsylvania and graduated from Lansdowne High School. She lived in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania and worked for Sharon Steel. She was also a committee woman for Haverford Township. She married Vince Egan in 1972, who was the love of her life.

Pat and Vince moved to Avalon, NJ and later to Cape May Court House, NJ. They owned the Emjay Shop in Stone Harbor NJ. In 2007, Pat moved to Cumming, Georgia to be closer to her son and grandchildren.

Pat loved her dogs and cats, knitting, watching TV, and discussing current events. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Graveside services will be on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Cape May Veteran's Cemetery in Cape May, New Jersey.
