Nita H. Thompson

Nita H. Thompson, 89, of Cumming, GA died on October 25, 2012 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Forest, MS she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth Huff. Her beloved husband, Bill Thompson and daughter, Kim Harris predeceased her. Nita was the youngest of eight children and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a charter member of Cumming Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Brennie Hall of Cumming, GA ; son, Bill Thompson III of Sugar Hill, GA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 5:00 8:00 pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30 at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The Rev. Butch Franklin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund of Cumming Baptist Church, 115 Church Street, Cumming, GA 30040.
