Myrtle Lee Apple

Myrtle Lee Brindle Apple, 83, of Cumming, GA formally of Chamblee, GA died on July 24, 2016. Born in Dobson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Ethel Brindle. Her husband, Ivie Gerald Apple and son Mark Lewis Apple predeceased her.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ray Sokolowsky, grandchildren, Lauren Sokolowsky and Lindsay Sokolowsky, all of Cumming, GA, sisters, Nettie (Darrel) Coe of Winston-Salem, NC, Edna (Jack) Wall of Rural Hall, NC, Carolyn White of Dobson, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

The service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4:00 -7:00 pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 11am until time of service. Another visitation will take place Friday July 29 from 10-12pm at Hines Linberry Sedgefield Chapel in Greensboro, North Carolina, and a graveside service will be at 12pm at Guiliford Memorial Cemetery
