Mitchell Hatfield

The Lord took an Angel through the gates of heaven on Saturday, January 18, 2014. French Mitchell Hatfield, age 49, of Dawsonville, GA passed away suddenly. He was a 1982 graduate of Iaeger High School. He was a loyal & dedicated employee of American Boa for the past 24 years. His hobbies and talents included football, riding four wheelers, playing with his grandchildren, playing guitar, and spending time at the farm. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hatfield, and his brothers, Teddy & Michael Hatfield. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille Hatfield, Dawsonville, GA, father, French Hatfield, Bluefield, WVA, sons, Ryan Hatfield (Ashley Frazier), of Clarksburg, WVA, Scott Brown, of Midway, GA, daughter, Sarah Martin (Dean), of Meldrim, GA, brother, Timothy Hatfield (Mona), of Gary, WVA, grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Ayden, Raylan, Crystal, Heather, Madison, Arien, & Mason, and cherished Pets, Spunky & Smokey. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. On Saturday, January 18th, we lost the most loving & trustworthy, son, husband, father, grandfather & friend. Until we meet again you will forever remain in our hearts. You will be greatly missed.
