Michael Torres

Michael Torres, beloved son of Ryan Paige and Corin Torres, was born on August 11, 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia & grew up in Cumming, GA. He peacefully passed away on June 23, 2024, at Grady Memorial Hospital due to the brain injury he sustained on June 18, 2024 while doing what he loved most - working at Black & Yellow Coring.

Michael was very family oriented & spent a lot of quality time with all family, whether it was just hanging out with his mother at home, spending as much time as possible with sister, or dropping by to visit with his grandmother, uncle, & so forth Michael made it a point to spend time with everyone whenever he could.

Michael had a passion for fishing and could often be found casting his line at his favorite fishing spot in his free time. He brought joy to all who knew him with his infectious laughter and positive attitude.

Michael was a lifelong New York Knicks fan and enjoyed shooting hoops with friends or even watching basketball games when his favorite teams were playing. Michael loved basketball so much he would obsessively play on his PS5 with his friends/ family & they played together as a team.

Some of Michael's other obsessions were cars, so much that the Fast & Furious movies were his favorite to watch. He loved to drift, loud motors, detailing his vehicles, & getting under the hood whenever he could teach himself something new. He was also very much into raising reptiles. He had three snakes and six geckos that he cared for as if they were his babies & then of course along came his beloved Frenchie, King.

Michael was such a free bird, at the drop of dime Michael would jump in his car & just go. He loved going to FL to go on the ocean to fish with family & visit with his father's family. Everyone that came in contact with Michael loved Michael very much.

Michael will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues at Black & Yellow Coring. May he rest in peace, forever casting his line in the great beyond.

Michael is survived by his mother; Corin Torres, father; Ryan Page; siblings; Joseph Torres, Brooklyn Torres; Triston Rawls; Grandparents; Margarita Deleon, Sharon Camarda, Frank Camarda; Uncles & Aunts; Ralph Gonzalez, Angelica Deleon, Lisa Gonzalez; and many many more.

A visitation will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 10:00AM-1:00PM. The funeral will take place at 1:00PM in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
