Michael David left this world Saturday and returned home to be with our Heavenly Father. While we mourn our loss down here, the angels above are celebrating because they know the life of the party just arrived.

And that is just who Michael was, the life of the party. The one who could always make you laugh and put a smile on your face. He lit up the room with his humor, zest and infectious smile. He was a free spirit you couldn't tame who lived life to its fullest. He loved his kids, being at the lake, creating new culinary items, Star Wars and well...women. As he used to say...chicks dig me.

One his favorite songs was Free Bird which deems very appropriate to all those who knew him well:

If I leave here tomorrow.

Would you still remember me?

For I must be traveling on now

Cause there's too many places I've got to see

The answer Michael is yes, we will still remember you. You have touched too many people's hearts to ever forget you. May the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish that you were here.

To all his extended family and friends, we thank you for loving him as much as we do. We will be having a Celebration of Life for Michael sometime in June. We will keep you posted on details once they have been decided.
