Melissa Ann Cannon

Melissa Ann Cannon, 46, died on Friday August 29th, 2014 at Northside Hospital Forsyth with family at her bedside. She was born on February 8th, 1968 in Pomeroy, WA to Karen Dole and Del Lathim. She graduated from North Georgia College and State University as a registered nurse and worked at Northside Forsyth, as well as working as a mother to five children. Around the hospital, as well as at home, she was known for her big heart, being a hard-worker & dedicated, and of course, being sassy. She is survived by her five children, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Dylan, & Joshua Polgar, and Aidan James Cannon; and her mother, Karen Dole. Visitation services will be held at McDonald & Son funeral home, 150 Sawnee Dr. Cumming, GA 30040, Wednesday September 3rd, 2014 from 6pm-9pm. A funeral service officiated by Dr. Bob Jolly will be held on Thursday September 4th, 2014 at 5pm at First Baptist Church of Cumming, 1597 Sawnee Dr. Cumming GA, 30040. She will be buried in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Stroke Association would be greatly appreciated.
