Melba Snyder

It is with profound sorrow and deep love that we mourn the passing of Lena Melba Ree Snyder, affectionately known as Melba, on May 26, 2024.

Melba Snyder will be remembered as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She lived a full and happy life surrounded by the things that mattered most to her – her family and friends. She faithfully served her Savior and walked beside Him until her last days. We rejoice in knowing that the promise of Heaven is sweet reunion.

Melba is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Ola Mae Hubbard; her husband, William Snyder Sr.; and her three siblings, Herman Hubbard, Leroy Hubbard, and Sandra Vaughan.

She is survived by her son William Snyder Jr. (Donna); her brother James E. Hubbard; her three grandchildren, Brittany (Josh) Reeves, Emily (Brandon) Toole, and Seth Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Declan, Everly, and Ava. She will be missed by the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5:00 pm, and Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040. The funeral service will follow on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at the same venue.

As we gather to commemorate Melba's remarkable life, we encourage everyone to reflect on the memories they shared with her and the ways she enriched their lives.
