Maurice Stephen Moore

Maurice Stephen Moore, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014. Born November 6, 1961, Berlin, Germany. Steve was an Army Brat , moving all around the world. He moved to Hawaii in 1974 and attended Iolani School. When he moved to Hawaii he began playing tennis and was ranked #2 in the state as a 14 year old. Hawaii has always held a special place in his heart. After moving to Atlanta, he attended Lovett School, where he once again was ranked #5 in the state of Georgia for tennis. He attended Clemson University, which was the beginning of a lifelong, undying love and passion in Steve s life. GO TIGERS! After graduating from Clemson, he began his business career at Harbinger, and several other IT companies. He joined Tea Leaf in 2004, and was with them until a merge with IBM in 2013. During his career, Steve was always ranked among the top 3 in sales. He is survived by his wife, Brooke and young daughter Crosby of Cumming, GA; parents, Linda and Neal Moore of St. Mary's, GA; sister, Liz McDermott of Atlanta, GA and her two sons, Taylor and Ford McDermott. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 5:30 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to Savethehorses.org, Wounded Warrior Foundation or the Forsyth County Humane Society.
