Mary Wilson

Mary Ellen Limpinsel Wilson, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 98.

Mary was born on September 7, 1926, to the late Alice and Anthony Limpinsel in Springville, New York.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Harold Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter Alice Beatrice (Bea) Wilson (spouse Wayne Wilson), daughter Susan Kay Wilson, and son William Samuel (Sam) Wilson and Granddaughter, Brandy Renee Wilson Mease.

Mary moved from Springville in the 1940s to Miami, Florida where she met Bill and raised a family. Bill and Mary moved to Dacula, Georgia in mid 1980’s and then Mary moved to Cumming in 2016 to be close to her kids.

Her hobby was knitting, and she made hundreds of scarves for family and friends over the years. She was also a great note taker, and a fan of scrapbooks. She documented just about every week of her... ie who called, what correspondence she received, kept every birthday/Mother’s Day cards, what was served and who brought what dish at every family gathering, etc. The family is blessed with dozens of binders of memories, pictures and mementos.

Mary is now at peace with the Lord, and with her beloved Bill.

A grave side service for family only will be held on November 1, 2024 at Sawnee View Gardens Cemetery, Cumming, Georgia.
