Mary White

Mary Margaret Kyle White was born on March 12, 1942 and passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023 in Alpharetta, GA at the age of 81. “Marti” to her Florida friends and “Mary Mart” to her Pennsylvania family and friends will be remembered as a strong, intelligent, and fun-loving woman who was exceedingly loyal to her family, especially to her children and grandchildren.

Mary Mart was born and raised in Quarryville, Pennsylvania and baptized at Little Britain Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Penn State University in 1963. She was a Home Economic teacher in New Jersey where she met and married Robert White with whom she raised her two children. The White family moved to Lee County Florida in 1978 and the Sunshine State was Marti’s home for the majority of her life. The last 20+ years of her career she was the Owner of Condominium Financial Services in Lee County. And she volunteered many years as a Guardian Ad Litem serving foster children in her community.

Mary Mart was preceded in death by her parents William Earl and Alice Kirk Kyle. She is survived by her son, Adam Kyle White and his wife Sara of Milton, GA, as well as their sons, Noah (17) and Joshua White (10); her daughter Victoria Ann Stevens, and her husband, Micah of Cumming, GA, as well as their daughters, Haley (17) and Emily Stevens (14); her sister Betsy Kyle Reece who lives in North Falmouth, MA with her husband Dr. Robert Reece.

Marti loved bright colors, wild animals, sunny beaches, and most of all cruises to exotic destinations. She will be buried at sea in the warm Caribbean waters.
