Mary (Polischuk) Markford

Mary Alexandra Polischuk Markford, 73, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on March 30th, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on April 6th, 1948 in Chester, PA. After graduating from Interboro High School in 1966, Mary earned an associate degree from Pierce Junior College. On a warm June day in 1968, Mary married the love of her life, Duane at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Norwood, PA.

Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who loved nothing more than spending time with her husband and family.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, Wasyl and Mary Polischuk. She is survived by her devoted husband Duane, her sister Elizabeth, her brothers, Thomas and Wasyl, her son Darin and his wife Susan, her son Brian and his wife Joy, and her five loving grandchildren, Zoe, Sophie, Ryan, Mia, and Jake.

Services will be held at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Cumming, Georgia on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm with a short reception to be held at the church following the ceremony. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society in her honor.
