Mary A. Hunter

Mary Angela Hunter went home to be with our heavenly father on July 30, 2020 at the age of 56. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, On August 13, 1963 to Ezekiel Haynes Sr (preceded in death) and Mary Haynes and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Mary, known by everyone as Angela, attended Florida State University where she received a Bachelor in Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor in Art in Psychology from Columbia College. She and her husband Eugene Hunter met in college and married in November of 1985. She was a loving and dedicated wife to her late husband for 35 years and a loving and devoted mother to their son Justin Hunter.

Angie was a successful human resources executive and was privileged to work for many reputable companies in her lifetime such as American Express and Nabisco, including her most recent employer, Primeamerica, where she carried the title of Employee Relations Manager. Angela truly enjoyed her line of work.

Her career gave her the opportunity to at one time reside in North Carolina. Her career path led her to the city of Atlanta Georgia where she and her husband settled their roots and raised their son, Justin. She is survived by her son, Justin Hunter, Mother, Mary Haynes(father, late Ezekiel Haynes Sr)(6 siblings) Ezekiel Haynes Jr(Dorothy Haynes), Leon Haynes Sr(Lorena Haynes)., Charles Haynes Sr(Sandra Haynes), Joyce Williams(Russell Williams), Jacquelyn Haynes and Loretta Edwards (John Edwards)a host of aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and a circle of very dear friends.

Angela, was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories we will all cherish for the rest of our lives.
