Marianna Janikowski, a beloved wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 8th at the age of 87. Born into a world much different from the one she left, Marianna's journey was marked by her unwavering kindness, resilience, and a deep love for her family.
Marianna was the cherished wife of Harold Janikowski, her steadfast partner in a marriage that blossomed with shared dreams and mutual respect. Together, they nurtured a blended family that included four children and five stepchildren, weaving a tapestry of love and unity that extended to 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Marianna was a beacon of wisdom and warmth. Her kitchen was the heart of their home, where recipes were not just instructions for meals, but for life. Each dish she lovingly prepared seemed to carry a piece of her spirit, infused with the flavors of her heritage and the stories of her youth.
Marianna’s hands, always busy, were never too full to embrace a crying child, plant a flower, or wave in greeting. Her laughter was infectious, her counsel sought after, and her presence a comfort to all who knew her.
As we say goodbye to Marianna, we also celebrate the profound impact she had on each of us. Her legacy will continue to flourish in the gardens she planted, the traditions she passed down, and the loving memories we carry in our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Marianna. You were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
