Mark Gardner Hallam

Mark Gardner Hallam passed on August 22, 2022 at the age of 73.

Mark is survived by his brother, Scott Hallam and sister-in-law, Margaret Hallam of Dahlonega; niece & nephew, Tara Nichols and David Nichols of Dahlonega; nephews, Michael Nichols & Luke Nichols; and niece, Mary Anne Nichols.Numerous cousins also survive him.

His parents, George Hallam, Jacksonville, Florida and Maryann Hallam, Jacksonville, Florida, precede Mr. Hallam in death.

He was born on August 17,1949 in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Mark lived and worked in Jacksonville, Florida and St. Petersburg, Florida for much of his life. In later years, he moved to Dahlonega where he lived for more than 20 years.

Mark was a kind and gentle person, beloved by his family. He loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves, watching western movies, and listening to music.

He treasured time with his nephews and nieces and loved big family celebrations.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, August 24,2022 at 11:00 am at Dahlonega Funeral Home.

John McCrary, a special friend to Mark, will officiate the ceremony. Family will receive friends prior to the service. Burial will take place at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery in Dahlonega, Georgia.
