Mark Aycock

Barry Mark Aycock, 42, of Gainesville, GA died at his home on February 7, 2012. Born in Rome, GA he was the son of Barry Aycock of Rome, GA and LeAnn and Rudy Lindsey of Cumming, GA. Mark graduated from West Rome High School. He served in the US Navy where he attained the rank of E-4 and earned the highest level in marksmanship. He was a firefighter with the Forsyth County Fire Department, Station 15 for 11 years. Mark loved to fish, scuba dive, skydive and was an avid gun enthusiast. He was also involved in Swift Water Rescue. In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Beth Aycock of Gainesville, GA; children, J.P. Cole of Destin, FL and Jessi Aycock of Cumming, GA; half brother, David Spence of Atlanta, GA: and his brothers the Forsyth County Firemen. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2012 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11 from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
