Marion Archacki

Marion Tenan Archacki, 85, passed away on July 26, 2026 in Cumming, GA. Her presence on this earth personified love, commitment to family, and an unwavering faith in God.

Marion was raised in Farmington, CT, where she excelled at dance and baton. Marion was the youngest child of Mary Ann (Dubrosky) Tenan, and her father, Louis Tenan. Her brothers Louis and Richard, as well as her parents, predeceased Marion.

As a student at Farmington High School, Marion caught the eye of Bob Archacki. They married in 1959 and Marion became a naval wife and eventually a mother to three children. Marion’s caring personality was exemplified in her devotion to her family. She was a doting mom, a skilled homemaker, and a constant cheerleader and moral compass for her loved ones. Marion was dearly cherished and will be missed by her friends and family.

Marion's dedicated, selfless spirit lives on through her children and their families. She is survived by son Robert Archacki, Jr., and his wife, Mary Flanagan, of Austin, TX; daughter Cheryl Mackie and her husband, Scott Mackie, of Cumming, GA; and son Scott Archacki, of Irvine, CA. Marion is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her husband, Bob, predeceased Marion earlier this year.

Mass and funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Mass will be held at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Cumming, GA at 12:00 noon. Her remains will be interred at a later date at the veteran’s cemetery in Canton, GA.
