With heavy hearts and enduring love, we remember Marilyn Williams, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, niece and friend who passed away on October 13, 2026 at age of 62.
Marilyn was born on September 13, 1964, in Rochester, New York. She loved her family deeply and was fiercely protective of the people she cared about. She offered kindness without expecting anything in return. Her warmth made others feel welcome and her friendship gave them someone they could count on. She brought joy, comfort and a sense of belonging to those fortunate enough to know her. She was known for kindness, honesty, compassion and touched the lives of many through her 28 years at Cartier and friends throughout the community.
Marilyn married the love of her life, Roger, on February 26, 1992. Together they enjoyed cooking, traveling and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. They had one son, Dominic Williams. Roger and Dominic were the greatest joys of Marilyn's life. Marilyn fought a courageous battle with cancer and Roger was by her side every step of the way. During her battle, Roger became a faithful caregiver, a tireless advocate and reminded her constantly of her beauty, her strength and her grace. He looked at her daily with awe, adoration and unwavering love.
She will be remembered for her laughter, her thoughtfulness, her steady love and the everyday moments that we will always cherish. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Her memory will live on in the stories shared by all those that loved her, the traditions continued in her honor and the kindness we offer one another because of her example.
