Marie Jones Lovell

Marie Jones Lovell, 91, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully with family on Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was born in Dalton, Georgia, on October, 25, 1922, to Lois and Remus Jones. She married the late John Bernard Lovell, Sr. on October 26, 1941. John and Marie were happily married for 58 years until his death in December of 1999. Marie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by two children: Carolyn Hutcheson, of Montgomery, Alabama, and John B. Lovell Jr. of Cleveland, Georgia. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16 at McDonald s Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia at 9:30 a.m. and immediately followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her beloved, John, at 3:00 p.m. at East View Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.
