Marguerite Anne Wilkerson Carter

Marguerite Anne Wilkerson Carter, 79, of Cumming, GA passed away on May 17, 2015. Born in Atlanta, GA on September 9, 1935, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Robertson Carter, Jr., who passed earlier this year. She is a graduate of Washington Seminary (later merged with West Minster Schools) and Stephens Women's College. As a member of Christ Church of Atlanta, she joyfully served in the children's Sunday School ministry for many years. Anne will be remembered as a caring and serving member of the Body of Christ, and a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her loving daughters, Elizabeth Carter Begley, Marguerite Carter Moses, Laura Carter Lackey, Anna Carter Etheriedge; and grandchildren, John Carl and Joseph Begley; Andrew and Christopher Moses; Laure Lee, Ella and Carter Lackey; and Sarah, Ben, Timothy, Rebekah, and Bethany Etheriedge.
