Margaret Sarah Hicks-Durham

Margaret Sarah Hicks-Durham, 33, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on April, 29, 2018.

She was born on December 10, 1984 in Atlanta, GA a daughter of Randy and Patty Hicks who both survive her. She is also survived by a grandmother, Beverly George. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Allison Hulsey (Chris) and her brother Joey Hicks. She is also survived by her nephews Ethan and Landon. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Margaret is preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph and Patsy Hicks and G.H. George, and great grandmother Sallie Higgins.

Maggie graduated with an Associate Degree from Young Harris College and was a member of the AI Sorority that she dearly loved and made life long friends. She also graduated with a BS in Accounting from North Georgia College and State University.

She was employed by TenKey Business Solutions and Atlas Pizza.

Maggie was a talented flutist, loved disc golf, the North Georgia mountains, Gilmore Girls, The Simpsons, Hitchcock movies and mainly her dog Lexie.

Maggie was definitely one of a kind and had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Forsyth County Animal Shelter.
