Marion "Mallie" Gilliam, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, June 7, in her sleep.

Mallie was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Gilliam, and only Daughter, Beth Daniels. She is survived by her three grandsons and their families, including 8 great-grandchildren. Samuel Jonathan Daniels and his wife, Julie Daniels. Sam's children Sidney (12), Jonathan (9), Claire (7), and William (6). Christopher Paul Daniels, his wife, Victoria Daniels, and their child Lyndon (6). John Dennis Daniels II, his wife, Amy Daniels, and their children, Aiden (4), James (1), and their expected baby girl. Mallie is also survived by her son-in-law Dennis Daniels and his wife Ginger Daniels.

Mallie was a long-time member of John's Creek Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir until her 92nd year of life. Mallie cherished her memories of working at Dunwoody High School as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed hosting friends and family gatherings and looked forward to her Thursday coffee groups.

Her life will be celebrated at Johns Creek Baptist Church on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 3 pm at Heritage Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Johns Creek Baptist Church.
