Magdalene B. Mullins

Magdalene "Pat" Bruce Mullins,75, of Demorest, Georgia, formerly of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on May 13, 2019. Pat was a resident of Magnolia Hills Assisted Living at the time of her passing.

Pat was born on July 21,1943, in Ball Ground, Georgia, to the late Wilma Amerson and Horace Bruce. As a teenager, Pat moved to San Francisco, California. In 1962, Pat returned to her native Georgia and married Richard Leon Mullins of Holly Springs, Georgia. The couple have one daughter, Deanna Mullins Hartness. Pat was primarily a homemaker until she went to work for Michael's Arts and Crafts in 1980. Pat and Richard were married 48 years until Richard's death in 2013.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mullins, and her brother, James Bruce.

Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Mullins and Duane Hartness of Clarkesville, Georgia, her granddaughter, Mary Hartness of Clarkesville, her sisters Dorothy Burmester of Gilroy, California, and Betty Delay of Canton, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 4:00 p.m. at The Torch Worship Center in Demorest, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Habersham County United Way.
