Louis Clark Hargrove

Louis Clark Hargrove, 85 of Dawsonville Georgia passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Son of the late, Oliver D. Hargrove and Hazel M. Hargrove. Born May 28, 1929, "Louie" was a native of Akron, Ohio. Spent most of his life in Pompano, Florida where he raised his family. He then spent his final retirement years in Cumming/Dawsonville, Georgia. Throughout his life, Mr. Hargrove enjoyed various careers in which he not only took great pride in his work, but truly relished the friends he made during his business endeavors. Louie enjoyed golfing, sporting events, having a fun time and was always up for a good laugh. He was a lifelong fan of The Miami Dolphins, The Florida Marlins and never missed a year of watching the Little League World Series. Louie leaves behind four children: Connie (Steve) Wylie of Dawsonville, Ga; Vicky Bailey of Cumming, Ga; Gary (Karyn) Hargrove of Pompano Beach, Fl; Michael Hargrove, Sr. of Jacksonville, Fl. Twelve grandchildren, Michael Wylie of Boca Raton, FL; Monica Daugherty of Dawsonville, GA; Timothy Bailey of Geneva, FL; Gregory Bailey of Ruskin, FL; Michelle Tolhurst of Cumming, GA; Kathleen Hargrove of Plantation FL, Michael Hargrove Jr of Virginia, Lana Hargrove of Ft. Lauderdale FL; Jeffery Hargrove of Boca, FL; Jennifer Hargrove of Boca, FL; Christine Hargrove of Pinehurst, SC; Danny Hargrove of Boca, FL; Twelve great grandchildren: Bryce and Tyler Wylie, Michael, McKenzie and Macie Daugherty, Brittney Ashley Ty and Lacy Tolhurst, Brady and Elly Bailey, Lily Catri. Three Sisters, Betty Jean Hardin, Glady Feener and Boots Henderson; One brother, Douglas Hargrove and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Hargrove, in 2006.
