Loretta Carlson

Loretta Lee Carlson (nee Hill), beloved mother and community member,
passed away in Cumming, GA on May 22, 2024, at the age of 89.

Born on December 3, 1934, in Newton, NJ, Loretta was the daughter of
Harold Hill from Newton, NJ, and Francis Moser originally from Easton,
PA. She was the youngest of two sisters.

Loretta worked for American Airlines before dedicating herself to
raising her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband Max Perlowin
and a loving mother to her sons Scott Perlowin of River Edge, NJ, and
Drew Perlowin of Marietta, GA. She is survived by her two sons, her
daughter-in-laws Melissa Borza and Deb Perlowin, and five
grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Vincent, Max, and Leah.

Loretta lived in various places throughout her life, including
Elmhurst, Queens, Parsippany, NJ, Niskayuna, NY, Savannah, GA, and
Greater Atlanta, GA. Each community she lived in benefited from her
desire to help others especially in various women’s groups.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org/georgia) in her honor.
Loretta Lee Carlson’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who
knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her
family and friends.
