Loretta Elaine Brown

Brown, Loretta E. Cumming, GA Passed away in the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2023, age 87 years. She was born on November 1, 1935, daughter of the late Leonard and Julia (Riley) Schneider, in Saginaw, MI. Loretta married Kenneth A. Brown January 1954, he predeceased her April 2011. She retired after many years of service at the bank. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church where she was a member of the caring team and in other capacities as needed. She enjoyed traveling, watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Price Is Right. Loretta loved spending time with her family and baking with her Grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Diane (David) Ohmann, Jeff (Kelly) Brown; her grandchildren, Zach Brown, Kelsea Bauerle, Madelyn Brown and Jacob Bauerle.; two great granddaughters, Loretta and Bailey; one brother, Robert Schneider; one sister, Donna McCargar. She was predeceased by her siblings, Leonard Schneider, Jr, David Schneider, Phyllis Steinke, Marlene Hester and Caroline Cooke and Shirley Koch; her son Kevin Brown. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1125 Bettis-Tribble Gap Rd Cumming, GA. Rev. J. Patrick Finley will officiate with burial in Sawnee View Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Dr Cumming, GA.
