Lizabeth Foster Martin

Lizabeth Foster Martin, 49, of Cumming, GA died on March 5, 2015 at Embracing Hospice House after a long cancer battle. Born in DePage, IL she was the daughter of the late Bonnie Mason Foster and Larry Foster of Demorest, GA. Liz graduated from Milton High School in 1983 and married Russell (Rusty) in 1985. She most recently worked at the Cumming First United Methodist Church Preschool where she loved her students as she loved her own children. In addition to her father, Liz is survived by her husband, Russell Martin of Cumming, GA; children, Alyssa and Reed Martin of Cumming, GA; mother and father-in-law, Linda Mansell Martin and Alan Martin of Elijay, GA; brothers-in-law, Tony (Page) Martin of Marietta, GA and Ryan (Stephanie) Martin of Canton, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeffrey Farster will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 am until service time.
