Linda Lou Horvath

Linda Lou Horvath, 71, of Gainesville, Georgia was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Born November 22, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Buford Wright and Onalee Sykes.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Horvath; three daughters, Deborah Venegas of Cumming, Georgia, Barbara (Richard) Barker of Howell, Michigan and Jeanette Wendt of Alpharetta, Georgia, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven siblings and two step-children.

Linda was a long time resident of Forsyth County where she enjoyed her life as a devoted wife and mother. Her life was dedicated to the Lord and loving all creatures, big and small. Her happiest moments were when she was surrounded by family and her pets. A country girl at heart, most times she could be found walking about barefoot and with the windows wide open, letting in all the fresh air. She had a knack for gardening and had the biggest heart as she took in animals without hesitation.

Friends and family can visit Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 5pm to 9 pm at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home and the service will be conducted on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the McDonald and Son Chapel.
