Dawsonville, Georgia
Linda Campbell, a woman who built a strong, beautiful family, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026 at the age of 81. A lifelong resident of metro Atlanta, Linda was born in Chamblee and grew up next to Georgia Tech. Linda made many lifelong friends during her 33 year career at Equifax and Choicepoint as a financial manager.
Linda was dedicated to her girls and took every chance to volunteer for them. She loved shopping, and used every opportunity to make sure her girls had all the gear and outfits they needed to be successful. She loved her family by consistently ensuring they had anything they needed. She was deeply involved in all her grandchildren's experiences from graduations to sports competitions, taking genuine joy in and cheering on all their personal, academic, and athletic accomplishments.
Linda could always tell you how it is, help you, and make you feel better, all at the same time. While she ran a tight ship- teaching us how to be proper- she was always the first to dance in the kitchen and have a laugh, showing us the importance of living the party that is life.
Linda and Norm were a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen. From her sweet southern roots, Linda was ‘world famous’ for her special, artery-clogging biscuits and gravy, super-secret potato salad recipe, the best bacon-molasses baked beans, and crispy fried chicken. Some favorite memories with Linda were in the kitchen in pajamas, dancing and laughing, receiving instructions, and learning the secret ingredients. While Norm cooked with precision, Linda cooked with fun, and together they filled their kitchen with love and heart, filling those they cherish with good food and bottomless love.
Linda is survived by Norman Campbell, her husband of 37 years, her daughters Kellie Heath, Heather Kolich, and Rene Stahl; and granddaughters Kelsey Thomas, Delaney Kolich and Campbell, Hayden, and Parker Stahl. And, her sweet fluffy companion, Miss Alice. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lula and John Peavey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Chase Elliott Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Memorial service details will be released at a later date.
