Linda Perry Bright

Linda Perry Bright, 68, of Cumming, GA died at her home, surrounded by her family, on July 21, 2010. Born in Ringgold, LA she was the daughter of the late Lavert and Claudia Perry. Her brother, John Garland Perry and sister, Delores Dee Perry Fletcher also predeceased her. Linda was active in the Dunwoody Republican Women s Club and was invited to represent the 4th District at President Reagan s inauguration. She was the recipient of the Black Diamond Award. She was also a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. Linda attended Northwestern State University (LA) and was an avid NASCAR fan. She will be dearly missed by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel W. Bright, Jr. of Cumming, GA; son, Kent (Georgia) Bright of Cumming, GA; daughter, Deirdre (Alfred) Reagan of Taylorsville, GA; sister, LaVerne Perry Knotts of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Samuel Reeves Davis and Alexandra Linda Bright of Cumming, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, LA. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
