Linda B. Amos

Linda Bost Amos, 72, of Gainesville, Georgia, died on Monday, September 10, 2012. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who were fortunate to know her. In addition to being a homemaker and mother, Linda worked as a sales agent for Northside Realty. She later assisted her son as he opened his Roswell-based company, Residential Leasing, Inc. Linda had an interest in interior design and decorated the homes and offices of friends and family. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, and knitting. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George F. Bost and Alice Fallin Bost, of Delray Beach, Florida, and by her brother, George F. Bost, Jr. of Alpharetta, Georgia. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald L. Amos; daughter, Renee Hansen (Brad) of Cumming; and son, Donald L. Amos, Jr. (Susan) of Alpharetta. Grandchildren include Lauren Hansen, Christina Hansen, Allison Amos, and Donald L. Amos, III. Linda is also survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, and sister-in-law. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
