Lila Roper Goble

Lila Roper Goble, 70, of Cumming, GA passed away on August 22, 2011. Born in Canton, GA she was predeceased by her husband, Paul B. Goble; parents, Vestus G. and Ruby B. Roper; sister, Betty Roper; and brothers, Steve and Robert Roper. Mrs. Goble was a member of Beaver Ruin Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. She loved fishing; going to the beach, mountains, and special trips to Cherokee, NC. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her stepson, Paul Michael Goble of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Millie and Billy Duncan of Duluth, GA; brother, Herman and Becky Roper of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Everett C. Roper of Lawrenceville, GA; sister-in-law, Dolly Roper of Meridian, MS; sister-in-law, Cathy Roper of Rosebud, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and lots of loving friends. There will be a visitation from 1:30 2:30 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2011, with a Memorial Service at 2:30 PM on Sunday in the Chapel of McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
