Lewis Franklin Sterling Jr.

Lewis "Lew" Franklin Sterling, Jr.,92 of Cumming, GA passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018.

He was born on December 13, 1925 in Gadsden, AL, the son of Lewis F, and Etta Adel Satterfield Sterling who have both predeceased him.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Miriam P. Sterling, daughter, Linda S. Staton of Cleveland, TN and son, Robert L. "Bobby" Sterling of Cumming, GA. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Myrtle Penland of Gatlinburg, TN and Patsy Usry of Gadsden, AL. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11am at Cumming Baptist Church.

Interment will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, AL at 1pm Central Time.
