Leonas Arthur Dodd, 88, of Cumming, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Born in Stephens County, GA, he is predeceased by his son, Joseph L. Dodd; parents, Earnest and Minnie Dodd, great grandson; Zachary Lacy. Mr. Dodd is a 45 year resident of Forsyth County and member of Cumming Baptist Church. He is a 36 Degree Mason. He is survived by his loving wife, Viola M. (Simpson) Dodd of Cumming, GA; daughter, Martha Dodd Clarke (John), of Whitby, Ontario, Canada; brother, Herman Dodd of Toccoa, GA; sister, Eula D. Kinney of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, Scott A. Dodd, Genie D. Trafford (Derek Fambrough), Joseph A. Lacy (Jessica), John W. Dodd (Kim), and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 9:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Cumming Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The Revs. Barry Crocker and Gene Brown will officiate.
