He learned to speak Gaelic, the old language spoken in Ireland and Scotland and was always hoping to meet a fellow speaker. Lee also spent several years researching and writing his book, The Holy Grail Cosmos of the Bible, for which he studied ancient biblical languages and translations of ancient texts with the help of Justice Welter who wrote the preface to his book. Lee was also a gardener who enjoyed sharing surplus vegetables from his garden. Target shooting at the River Bend Gun Club, where he was one of the oldest active members, was his favorite hobby.
