Lamar Ross

Lamar Hall Ross, age 66 of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 following a brief illness. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Ross Byers, and his father, Lamar Hall Ross, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan Ross, and son, Daniel Ross, both of Cumming, Georgia.

Mr. Ross was a Christian, devoted husband, and loving father. He was a member of First Redeemer Church in Cumming, GA. Mr. Ross was an Eagle Scout, and loved Georgia football, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves. His favorite pastime was spending time with his son and working in the yard. Lamar was a retired Commercial Insurance Auditor. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan Ross, and son, Daniel Ross, both of Cumming, Georgia.

The family will receive friends starting at 1PM and a service following at 3PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be 1PM, Monday, April 8, 2019 in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, in Macon, Georgia.
