Lamar Alan Bailey

Lamar Alan Bailey, 60, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on August 6, 2025. He was born on July 30, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lamar worked in the engineering departments at Northside Hospital and Northeast Georgia Health Center and later owned and operated his own junk removal and air duct cleaning companies. He will be remembered for his kindness, hard work, and the love he shared with family, friends, and neighbors.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Sands Bailey; children, Morgan, Lindsay, and Shane Mathisen Bailey; sister, Cheryl Colette; brother, Alton Vernon Bailey; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Rick and Ann Sands, Gail Sands, and Lee Strickland.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Deer Creek Shores Presbyterian Church, 7620 Lanier Dr., Cumming, GA 30041. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spina Bifida Association in his honor.
