Kimberly Beth Porter

Kimberly Beth Porter, 38, of Milton, GA went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2010 at Metropolitan Hospice. Born in Broward County, FL, she was the daughter of Jerry and Lynn Rector of Brandon, FL. Kim was a loving wife and mother with a passion for homeschooling her children. She was a talented musician and piano teacher. An active member of North Point Community Church, she was also affiliated with the home school organization, CHEER. In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by her beloved husband, Charles R. Porter of Milton, GA; sons, Chase and Daniel Porter; sister, Karen Hering of Loundesville, SC; and brother, Kevin Rector of Brandon, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 30 at North Point Community Church. Pastor Mark Hering will officiate. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
