Kevin Patrick Register

–

Cumming, Georgia

Kevin Patrick Register passed away on May 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Everett Register and Helen Dorothy Dillon, brothers Charles Register Jr, Michael Register and Philip Register.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 31 years : Kathy Long Register, Sons : Chad {Callie} Esco, Philip Register and Matthew Register, Brothers : Bruce {Mitzi} Register, Anthony {Leena} Register, and Jude {Amir} Register, Sisters : Janice {Barry} Smith, Lauren {Tim} Gephart, Angela {David} Edmondson, and Michelle {Keith} Langley, Mother-In-Law Barbara Long, and granddaughter Margo Elizabeth Esco.

Kevin also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, many childhood friends from Virginia where he had so many wonderful memories that he would often share with a smile and sparkle in his eyes, fellow coworkers from the Roswell Post Office where he worked for 30 years and they would agree how often he entertained them with his one-liners, silly jokes and his magnetic personality. Also so many friends and neighbors he had met in his 30 years in the Forsyth County Community.

Kevin was an Army veteran and loved this country and our military. He enjoyed taking trips with family, friends and especially with his father and brothers. His favorite place to go was Tybee Island and Savannah where he had family and great memories growing up. He had such a big heart and loved helping out people sometimes with little things like his homemade jerky, boiled peanuts, and Kathy could never keep homemade jelly around! If he saw someone in need of money he would give all he could and often surprised people by secretly paying for their meals. He loved riding the tractor and taking care of their huge garden which was too often shared with friends and family. Kevin hardly went anywhere without his straw hat. He loved old classic rock and classic country music but Tom Petty was his favorite. He left a mark on this world and he will be missed by so many.
