Kevin Pinson

Kevin Marc Pinson, a charismatic and resilient spirit, took his final bow on the stage of life on July 27, 2024. Born in Montgomery, AL, on December 5, 1962, to parents Jimmy and Gay Pinson, Kevin lived a life that was as rhythmic and enchanting as the drums he passionately crafted. He was a talented creator, his rhythms resonating not only through his music but his life as well. Kevin's creativity was boundless, illuminating every corner of his world and touching the hearts of those privileged to know him.

Kevin had just moved to Hoschton, Georgia, where he resided. His life was a symphony of love and resilience. Widowed yet never defeated, he used his creative talents to heal and inspire. His masterpiece was not only the drums he made but his family, the most important part of his life. His love and dedication to his family were his most beautiful melodies. He is survived by his father, Jimmy Pinson; mother, Gay; his children, Zachary Pinson and Katie Marya; and his brother, Shane Pinson and his wife, Paige. Although he was preceded in death by his son Samual Pinson, the rhythm of their shared love continues to beat in the hearts of those left behind.

In the words of Friedrich Nietzsche, "Without music, life would be a mistake." Kevin's life was a beautiful composition, a testament to his resilience and creativity. His spirit, like the beat of a drum, resonates in all who knew him. The celebration of Kevin's life will occur on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm EDT, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040.
