Kevin Roger Doris

Kevin Doris, 86 of Cumming, Georgia passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 17th, 2021.

Kevin was born in Bronx, NY and later moved to Mt. Vernon, NY and Danbury, CT where he raised his family before retiring to Georgia.

Proudly served in the Army during the Korean War and a longtime employee of the Bell System.

Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bettina (Guglielmucci) Doris, their four children, Kevin and wife, Mary of Connecticut, Kim of Georgia, Steve and wife, Missy of Georgia, and John of Georgia.

Kevin was fondly called Pop by his five Grandchildren, Derek, Anthony, Stephanie, Nicholas and Samantha.

Kevin also leaves behind nine great grandchildren, Adriana, Andrew, Laealin, Elowen and Lachlan Everly, Rylan, Murphy, and Catalina.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents, John Francis Doris and Winifred Doris. Also, his brothers, Thomas, John, Michael, and sisters, Marie and Barbara.

The visitation will be held at McDonald Funeral Home in Cumming on Tuesday, December 21st from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a Military Honor at 6:00pm. A Memorial will follow on December 22nd at Grace Chapel Church - 6755 Majors Road, Cumming at 6:00 pm. Kevin will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery on January 6th at 10:30 am.
